The MTL Attachments XC7 Xtreme Cutter is an unbelievable land clearing machine. 
Use the MTL Attachments Xtreme Cutter to clear property line, gas lines, and building lots. 
The MTL-X is capable of cutting up to 7" diameter trees. 
The MTL-X Cutter features a TRUE DIRECT DRIVE motor system, which means there are no belts, chains with gears to break. 
Solid minimum 1/4” steel deck plate with Custom extra heavy duty push bar and open face front.

***Common Questions***
What is the advantage / disadvantage to 3 or 4 blades ?
The most common misconception in the industry is the more blades, the better- Not always correct. The single largest problem with any hydraulic cutter is being able to maintain cutting speed / RPM. If you take For Example 3- blades spinning at 750 rpm this is approx 2250 impacts per minute on the blades, this is also 2250 times per minute that there is an attempt to slow the rpm's (revolution per minute) of the cutter - a 4 blade would be 3000 impacts per minute, and 3000 times per minute at an attempt to slow the rpm's.  We have found that the 3 blade is the best of both worlds, it offers a very good cut on pasture land grass while maintaining the performance in the larger diameter trees and brush. If your machine is toward the upper limit of the Flow chart, then the 4 blade may be a very good option for you.

Does the unit come with the couplers needed to plug into my machine ? -
Yes the unit is ready to go when it arrives - you will need nothing to start operating the unit.

Does the unit really take down 7" diameter trees? -
Yes, infact our customers once they have got familiar with the cutters & cutting larger diameter trees- they have taken down 10" Pine trees and a few 12" Sweet Gum trees, of course the Oaks and hardwoods are still around 6"-7' max.

What is the advantage of the doubled flywheel carrier ? 
If you look on the market you will find there are some similar models offered, and most all of them are single plate carriers, during our testing and development we found the single carriers while cutting overgrowth, and grass work great, but on larger diameter material, they have a greater chance of bending, the double stack flywheel - increases the strength of the design by nearly 3X that of the single stack.
